SHREWSBURY — Planning Board continues public hearing for mixed-use development at 525 Hartford Turnpike. The board voted 3-0 Thursday to advance the site plan approval and special permit hearing for the Virginia K Luke Irrevocable Trust property, with a decision deadline of 90 days from hearing close. Director Christopher McGoldrick reported that former associate member Matt Kaestner is interested in returning, which would provide necessary voting thresholds for upcoming projects.
The board also reviewed a prospective new engineer candidate and upcoming proposals including 335 Maple Avenue, a Subaru site plan, and 2 Maple Avenue administrative site plan.
