Sara M. (Bafaro) Howard, 88, of Shrewsbury, died on June 30, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband Jack and her siblings Carl Anthony Bafaro, Lorraine Blaise, Richard, Theresa, and Francis Bafaro. She is survived by her children Tracy E. Dubay (Stephen) of Worcester, John T. Howard Jr. (Jeanette) of Shrewsbury, Lori A. Howard of Shrewsbury, Matthew F. Howard (Christine) of Fairfield, and Michael J. Howard (Sharlene) of Shrewsbury; her grandchildren Allaire Dubay, Kathleen Dubay, James Howard, Sara Howard, John Howard, Brendan Howard, Kevin Howard, Leah Howard, Sophia Howard, and Neeve Howard; her brother Joseph Bafaro (June) of Shrewsbury; her sister-in-law Jean Howard of Manhattan; and many nieces and nephews. A wake is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of Saint Mary, 640 Main St, Shrewsbury; a funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. Carl R. Dahl Jr., 72, of Shrewsbury, died on July 1, 2026. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Chiampa Funeral Home, Shrewsbury.
