Form of Government Study Committee · Meeting of August 17, 2026
Shrewsbury government study committee closes community survey August 21. The Form of Government Study Committee voted unanimously to close the outreach survey as it evaluates whether to modify the town's representative town meeting structure. Town Manager Kevin Mizikar told the committee the current form of government functions efficiently, though he suggested expanding the Board of Health from three to five members and estimated charter consolidation costs under $50,000.
The committee is gathering feedback from department heads and elected officials, with a full report expected in September.
