Shrewsbury Form of Government Study Committee organizes systematic governance review through department interviews. Chair Michael Burns and nine other members approved prior minutes 8-0-1 and organized four department groups to conduct interviews with town agencies, probing how Shrewsbury's current form of government affects operations, decision-making speed, and alignment with Town Meeting. The committee will also separately interview Police Chief Kevin Anderson, Fire Chief Seth Colby, and both current and incoming School Superintendents, departments that collectively consume approximately 70 percent of the town's annual budget.
