Study Committee Assigns Working Groups to Interview Elected Officials

SHREWSBURY — Study Committee establishes working group to coordinate Town Meeting Member interviews. The Form of Government Study Committee, with Vice Chair John Finn acting as Chair and Michael Burns participating virtually, approved prior meeting minutes and received updates from department head interview working groups. The Committee established a volunteer working group to coordinate interviews with Town Meeting Members and assigned volunteers to interview the Select Board, School Committee Chair, and Moderator.
The Committee voted unanimously to extend its community survey, which has received 44 responses, through the next meeting on August 3, with plans to promote it through town and school newsletters. The Committee will hear from Franklin's Town Manager on August 3 regarding the Town Council form of government.
