Board revises septic system order at Ridge Road on appeal
Board of Health · Meeting of August 12, 2026
Shrewsbury Board of Health revises septic order at Ridge Road. Board members Karyn Rossacci, Emily Walker, and Dr. Shivkumar Bhadola voted unanimously to replace a June directive requiring full system upgrade, instead ordering installation of a new 1,500-gallon tank within two years after a second inspection suggested only tank replacement was necessary.
Rossacci was elected Chair of the three-member Board, and the Board unanimously reappointed five Health Agents for fiscal year 2027 and designated Annette Garcia as primary Public Health Emergency Preparedness representative for voting purposes.
