Shrewsbury Select Board fills committee vacancies with five appointments. The board unanimously appointed John Chenier and Melissa Scher to the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee for three-year terms, Andrew Croxford and Ramesh Razdan to the Sustainability Committee, and Lauren Olivier-Brock to the Historic District Commission. The board unanimously extended its intermunicipal animal control services agreement with Westborough and Grafton through June 30, 2027, and approved two one-day beer and wine licenses for the Summer Concert Series at Dean Park on August 27, 2026.

State Representative Hannah Kane and State Senator Michael Moore briefed the board on state budget developments, Chapter 70 education funding equity, and proposed data center regulation pending regulatory procedures.
