Shrewsbury Select Board sets Annual Town Meeting for May 18, 2026. The Board approved the Town Manager's Fiscal Year 2027 budget recommendation featuring a balanced budget through FY29 and highlighted funding needs for public safety and increased IT and utility costs. The Board appointed Lauren Blumberg and Jane Siebels to three-year terms on the Shrewsbury Cultural Council, and Carlos Pascoal to a five-year term on the Shrewsbury Development Corporation.
Multiple business licenses and one-day alcohol permits were renewed or approved for summer events at Maple Avenue Recreation Fields and Dean Park.
