SHREWSBURY — The Planning Board continued the 525 Hartford Turnpike hearing to Sept. 3 after hearing revised plans. GoVenture Capital Group's Tom Corbett and Brenden Gove presented a 250-unit mixed-use project with a mansard top floor, 15,000 square feet of commercial space and 62 parking spaces. Director of Planning and Economic Development Christopher McGoldrick said he is exploring a school bus access agreement like Edgemere Crossing's.
Resident Anand Sharma urged fewer units, citing a projected 6 percent rise in Route 20 traffic. The board voted 4-0 to continue and deferred a $11,490.45 bond for 193 Hartford Turnpike because two members had recused themselves, leaving no voting quorum.
