Shrewsbury Select Board approves FY2027 health insurance rates, designates police staffing, and seeks federal grant support. The Board unanimously set active employee health and life insurance rates at increases ranging from 7.5 percent to 9.5 percent, designated the Police Chief to assign officers to polling places for the May 5 Annual Town Election, and authorized Town Manager Kevin Mizikar to sign a support letter for federal funding to expand the Shrewsbury Senior Center's food security and programming services. The Board reviewed a $2.7 million Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling grant from the EPA and called for additional financial modeling before implementation.
