Shrewsbury Commission on Disabilities assigns member pairs to review access award nominees. The Commission on Disabilities assigned member pairs to evaluate four businesses nominated for access standards and determined that repeat recipients may receive recognition if they maintain compliance. Adam Cameron met with Parks and Cemeteries staff to discuss accessible parking enhancements at Gauche Park and Lake Park, with plans to use commission funds if town improvements are unavailable.
The group will review eight departmental responses to an accessibility audit survey in August.
