SHREWSBURY — Zoning Board approves two residential variances in July session. The Board voted 4-0 to grant a variance for a single-family home at 15 Overlook Avenue (applicant Daniel Taft, represented by builder Aiman Abdeljaber), allowing development of a 2,600-square-foot home on a 9,770-square-foot lot below the 12,500-square-foot minimum after a 40-year wait for clear title and sewer availability. The Board also voted 4-0 to grant two variances for accessory-structure placement at 24A Old Faith Road (Gayle Galletta, co-owner), allowing a 10-by-20-foot shed in the front yard and 4.8 feet from the side setback.
Three additional hearings were continued pending applications or revised plans.
