Trails Committee advances power line easement, honors departing staff

Shrewsbury Trails Committee unanimously backs power company easement application for trail expansion. The vote advances a major piece of the committee's overall trail plan. The meeting marked the final session for Kevin Esposito of the Parks Department before his retirement; Ryan Pontbriand will take over his duties.
The committee scheduled Girl Scout trail maintenance at Camp Wunnegan for April 19 and approved promotional activities including guided walks, an Arbor Day information table, and a 5K run planned for October 3 at Lake Street Park.
