SHREWSBURY — Sewer Commission postpones decision on grease trap pumping fine variance. The board asked Program Manager Jennifer Wright and Superintendent Timothy Maroney to research the Commission's authority to reduce or waive the $700 penalty issued to Over the Bridge Nutrition for a July 2025 late pumping, continuing the matter to March 25. Maroney reported the Maple-Rolfe Sewer Pump Station Replacement Project is nearly complete and projected sewer rates may increase 5 percent or less to fund upcoming capital work on three sites; the town was denied State Revolving Fund financing.

Town Engineer Justin Richardson detailed stormwater phosphorus control alternatives, including jellyfish structures and leaching catch basins, to be coordinated with M84 Permit catch basin replacement.
