SHREWSBURY — Sewer Commission approves prior minutes and hears project updates. The Commission unanimously approved November 12, 2025 minutes and heard from Water and Sewer Superintendent Timothy Maroney that Inflow and Infiltration flows have trended downward to 5.9 percent under the NPDES permit. The Clews Street pump station project is complete; the Maple/Rolfe Avenue Force Main and Pump Station Upgrade Project, budgeted at $9.8 million ($6.9 million for building, $2.8 million for force main), remains in progress with controlled shutdowns planned in coming weeks for tie-in work.
Town Engineer Justin Richardson reported on stormwater phosphorus control initiatives for three local ponds and an ongoing Basin Rehabilitation Project.
