Select Board · Meeting of July 28, 2026

Shrewsbury's Select Board voted 3-2 to increase Solid Waste Program rates by 15 percent for fiscal year 2027, aiming to fund half the program through user fees. Members Gregory Richards, Anand Sharma, and Michelle Conlin supported the increase; Chair Theresa Flynn and Member Carlos Garcia opposed it. The board also conditionally approved two license applications from RJ Foley Inc. d/b/a Foley Motorsports for a Garage License and Class 1 Motor Vehicle Dealer License, both pending Planning and Zoning Board approval.

Town Manager Kevin Mizikar presented an organizational restructuring plan that eliminates three administrative titles and creates a Deputy Town Manager role, with no net increase in staffing or budget.
