SHREWSBURY — SELCO Commission approves General Manager contract adjustment. The Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations Commission unanimously approved a General Manager contract adjustment on May 26, along with approving April 2026 bills, meeting minutes, and the Master Calendar. Rebecca Keane, Director of Electric Service, reported power supply variance of $4 million due to $1 million capacity overage offset by $1 million transmission underage.
Electric revenue beat forecast by 5 percent while commercial revenue ran 16 percent above forecast. The Commission remains on track for its 65 percent renewable energy goal and continues pursuing contracts to achieve 70 percent by end of 2026.
