Shrewsbury retirement board redirects assets to PRIT after allocation study. The Retirement Board voted 5-0 to liquidate assets from small and mid-cap investment managers and transfer them to the PRIT Fund's domestic equity sleeve, based on findings that the allocations had no measurable impact on meeting the fund's assumed rate of return. Kevin Condy of Dahab Associates presented an allocation study outlining the recommendation.
Second quarter returns reached 9 percent gross and 8.8 percent net of fees, with year-to-date performance approaching the target. The board also approved a PRIT Fund transfer not to exceed 900,000 dollars by August 31, 2026.
