Mediterranean Festival, Library Programs Fill Shrewsbury's Week
SHREWSBURY — Shrewsbury's Mediterranean Festival returns to St. Mary's Syriac Orthodox Church on Friday, Aug. 21, part of a packed week of community and library programming across town.

St. Mary's Syriac Orthodox Church, 1 Industrial Drive, hosts the Mediterranean Festival starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, according to the community events calendar.
The Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St., has 10 programs running Monday and Tuesday alone. Highlights include a Chess Camp with Tim Antonelli both evenings at 6:30 p.m., a Paw Patrol Dino Party at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Tech Tuesday drop-in technology help at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, a courtyard chalk-and-cleanup session, a Painted Pencil Pouches craft workshop, a "Little Innovators, Big Dreams" chromatography flower session for young scientists, a Math and Physics Exploration meetup, and a Spanish Conversation Club at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
