Library trustees reorganize; plan Sunday service hours

Shrewsbury Library trustees reorganize, approve 2027 expansion plans. The Board of Library Trustees unanimously elected Lisa Powers as chairperson, April Jones Prince as vice chair, Louise Garone as treasurer, and Barb Trudel as secretary. Director Priya Rathnam reported April activity of 30,046 materials loaned, 126 program offerings, and approximately 3,400 patron visits.
The board unanimously approved the director's 2027 goals, including launching Sunday service hours beginning in October and developing a strategic plan for 2030-2035.
