Shrewsbury Library trustees approve new Adult Services manager position with conditional town funding. Director Priya Rathnam reported that Town Manager Kevin Mizikar approved the role, with 75 percent of the salary funded by state aid and 25 percent by the town in FY27, shifting to full town funding by FY30. The position addresses staffing shortages that have required the Assistant Director to cover reference desk duties for numerous hours.
Trustees also unanimously updated collection policies to address digital accessibility standards and approved book sales by Kerry Postale, Melissa Monteith, and Jayanthi Rangan.
