SHREWSBURY — Historic District Commission approves public seating and preservation projects. The Shrewsbury Town Center Association won unanimous approval for 16 black Adirondack chairs on the Town Common, building on last summer's successful pilot program. The commission also unanimously approved four Certificates of Appropriateness: repairs to First Congregational Church's exterior trim and fascia, a cupola roof replacement at 2 Boylston Street, ADA access improvements to the 1830 Brick Schoolhouse, and sign restoration at the Shrewsbury Historical Society.
Resignations of Katie Brill and Shannon Nolley leave two open commission seats.
