SHREWSBURY — The Shrewsbury Finance Committee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and heard Town Manager Kevin Mizikar's initial FY27 budget recommendation, including departmental budgets benchmarked against comparable communities. The committee confirmed the schedule for upcoming public hearings: three budget hearings on March 17, 19, and 21, followed by warrant review hearings on April 9 and 16. Staff are preparing one-page operational documents for the committee and will respond to member questions before each department's scheduled March hearing.
