SHREWSBURY — Council on Aging Board launched Golden Ticket incentive pilot and new community forum. Director Hollie Lucht presented financial reports showing the General Fund at $2,090.96 and announced the hiring of Thomas Annunziata as part-time Food Pantry Coordinator effective June 15. The Golden Ticket pilot places 25 winning stickers in 2,500 monthly newsletters for priority trip registration and meal vouchers.

The board established a weekly forum called "Come Talk Shrewsbury," scheduled for July Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m., to gather input from older residents ahead of Shrewsbury's 300th anniversary in 2027. The board updated Special Trip policies, using two vans for popular trips to increase capacity to 22 passengers and establishing new registration windows for in-town and out-of-town residents.
