Shrewsbury Community Preservation Committee approves Dean Park drainage, defers Arrowwood sidewalk. The Community Preservation Committee authorized up to $10,000 in contingency funding to install drainage at Dean Park basketball courts, preventing water pooling that threatens the newly resurfaced court. A proposed $14,900 change order to repave an adjacent sidewalk at Arrowwood Park, providing ADA access to playground facilities, was deferred pending formal guidance from the Community Preservation Coalition on whether Community Preservation Act funds can support sidewalk repairs.
Melanie Magee, Clerk and At Large Member, was recognized for five years of service.
