CMRHD Advisory Board approves $461K grant budget and workplan

SHREWSBURY — Central Massachusetts Regional Health Department Advisory Board approves $461,014 annual grant budget. The board voted to approve the FY26 Workplan and FY26 Budget at its February 11 meeting, authorizing approximately $28,000 in spending adjustments for health communications, technology, and strategic planning. Voting members from Shrewsbury, Grafton, and West Boylston, led by Regional Health Director Annette Garcia, approved both measures during a roll-call vote.

The regional department completed 392 inspections between August and December 2025: 192 in Shrewsbury, 126 in Grafton, and 74 in West Boylston.
