Anniversary Committee Approves Production Contract for Kickoff

Shrewsbury 300th anniversary committee approves December kickoff production. Committee chair John Lebeaux led the unanimous approval of a Creedon production contract for staging, lighting, and video services at the December 12 kickoff event featuring remarks from the Historical Society, Library, and Church. Fundraising has reached $143,097, including $25,000 from SELCO and $25,000 from Central One Credit Union (available after January 1, 2027).
The committee is pursuing $100,000 in warrant funding and a $50,000 legislative earmark for anniversary events planned through 2027.
